Mystery illness grips Andhra town, over 200 hospitalised with signs of nausea, fainting

Amravati: More than 200 patients with epileptic symptoms have been hospitalized on Saturday night in Eluru city of Andhra Pradesh. In view of this type of emergency, an alert has been issued by the Health Department on Sunday. At the same time, 140 people who were undergoing treatment in various hospitals of the city have been discharged. However, 90 more people are reported to be sick on Sunday. 50 people were brought to the hospital in Eluru with faint symptoms.

Another 60 people have been admitted to private hospitals. All of these patients had symptoms of foamy and shivering. Now he has been discharged from the hospital. Doctors say that everyone’s condition is stable. Two patients have been sent to Vijayawada due to worsening condition. Most of the patients are older or have children. The team of doctors is trying to identify the disease.

Health Minister Alla Nani has visited hospitals in this regard on Sunday. He has said that a corona test has been done for all patients, the report of which has been negative. The Health Minister has also informed that 150 beds have been arranged in Eluru and 50 beds in Vijayawada so that emergency situations can be dealt with. Further Allah Nani said, “There is no threat to anyone’s life. The government is taking all necessary steps. Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy is closely monitoring the situation.”
