New Delhi: The Lok Sabha proceedings were disrupted for the fourth consecutive day on Friday, following the Opposition ruckus over the three new farm laws.

On Friday, the House was adjourned for the day amid sloganeering by Opposition Members, demanding repeal of the three new farm laws.

As soon as the House reassembled at 1800 hrs following the first adjournment, it witnessed noisy scenes after Opposition members entered the Well and again started raising slogans against the new farm laws.

Amid heavy sloganeering by the Opposition, the Papers were laid on the table.

Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla tried to pacify the agitated Members and asked them to return to their seats.

However, the Opposition Members continued to create ruckus over the farm laws, forcing Mr Birla to adjourn the House till 1600 hrs on Monday.

Earlier in the day, the Lok Sabha was adjourned at 1615 hrs till 1800 hrs, amid Opposition uproar over the same issue.
