Srinagar: Security forces arrested two members of the terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Toiba in Jammu and Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Friday. Police gave this information.
“On confidential information, the army and the CRPF arrested two members of the banned militant outfit Lashkar-e-Toiba from the Bonican Mohalla of Hajin town,” a police spokesman said. He said that the security forces recovered weapons, two hand grenades and eight bullets of AK 47 rifle from the terrorists.
The spokesman said that the arrested militants have been identified as Ghulam Mohiuddin Khan and Riyaz Ahmed Butt. “Preliminary investigations have revealed that the accused were working for Lashkar-e-Toiba and providing shelter and other supplies to terrorists operating in Sumbal and Hajin areas,” he said.
