New Delhi: The police have arrested the husband of a woman who died in a river in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Let us know that recently a woman named Ayesha has committed suicide by jumping into the Sabarmati River, after which her husband has been taken into custody by the Gujarat Police.
Ayesha’s husband has been arrested from Rajasthan. After which he will now go to Ahmedabad. Please tell that Ayesha had made a video before committing suicide, which is going viral on social media. In this video Ayesha said in an emotional way that whatever I am doing, I am doing at my own free will.
After Ayesha’s death, it was learned that this case was of dowry harassment. She was married to Arif of Rajasthan in the year 2018, but she was constantly being tortured in the name of dowry. Ayesha’s father Liaquat Ali has accused her in-laws of harassing the daughter for dowry. According to the father, “Ayesha was married to Arif Khan, who lives in Jalore, Rajasthan in 2018, but she was tortured for dowry only after marriage.”
He told that, “Arif left Ayesha to Ahmedabad a few months ago, but later on persuading relatives he took her along. After which Arif again left Ayesha to us in the year 2019. Arif and his family were demanding one and a half lakh rupees. Which we also completed, but their greed increased. ” Ayesha’s father tells that Ayesha tried to contact her husband, but when the contact was not there, she took this step.
