Lucknow: The Yogi Adityanath government strict on religious places that have encroached on the roads. On Thursday, the Home Department has directed the DMs and Divisional Commissioners of all the districts to remove all the religious places that encroach on the roads. All the occupations which have been done on the streets in the name of religious place should be evacuated.
State Additional Chief Secretary Home Avnish Awasthi has written a letter in this regard to DMs and Divisional Commissioners of all the districts in which he has directed to remove the illegally occupied religious places on the road.
All DMs and Divisional Commissioners have been asked to submit a report by March 14 regarding removal of encroachments. In this report, the district officials will have to tell how many public places after the order evacuated by religious encroachment.
