Meerut: A case of death has come to light after a gang rape in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. Two people were arrested in this case, out of which the main accused escaped from the custody of the police, although later he was arrested again after the encounter. The search for the two accused is still going on.
In fact, a class 10 student returning from tuition in a village of police station Sardhana Kotwali area was allegedly gang-raped by four youths from the village itself. After the incident, the student had allegedly consumed poisonous substance after reaching home and died during treatment in the hospital.
The police also arrested two accused in this case, but today when the accused was being taken to court, the main accused escaped from the custody, although the police arrested him again. It is known that the accused also opened fire on the police. During the counter-firing of the police, the accused got shot in the leg. The police has admitted the accused to the hospital in Custody.
SP Dehat Keshav Kumar said that four youths were involved in this incident on Thursday. He told that a suicide note of the student has been recovered from the house, in which the student has mentioned Lakhan son Sanjay and Vikas son Balwant. Kumar said that on the basis of this, the police have arrested both the accused and efforts are being made to arrest the two other accused.
