New Delhi: After the letter of the Union Health Minister, Dr. Harsh Vardhan, Yoga Guru Ramdev has withdrawn his controversial statement regarding doctors and allopathy. Addressing the Union Minister on Twitter, Ramdev said, “Your letter has been received, I withdraw my statement regretfully pausing the entire controversy regarding medical practices.”
On the letterpad of Patanjali Yogpeeth, Ramdev said in his clarification, We are not opposed to modern medical system and allopathy. We believe that allopathy has made great progress in the field of lifesaving system and surgery. Ramdev said, his video presented is of a meeting with activists, in which he read a message on WhatsApp. . But I am sorry if this has hurt anyone’s feelings.
Earlier, the Health Minister wrote a letter saying, ‘Your comments on allopathic medicines and doctors have hurt the countrymen a lot. I have already made you aware of this feeling of the people on the phone. The explanation you issued on Saturday is not enough to heal the hurt feelings of the people.
