Aligarh: 3 more arrests in poisonous liquor case, 104 people died so far

New Delhi: In Aligarh, three more people have been arrested in connection with the death of 104 people due to drinking spurious liquor. Among those arrested are Choubey Singh and Banwari Lal, contractors supplying liquor. So far 40 accused have been arrested in this case.

Earlier, the police had arrested Vipin Yadav with a reward of 50 thousand and Munish Sharma with a reward of 25 thousand. Now Neeraj Chaudhary has also gone into the hands of the police. The police administration has also identified assets worth 100 crores of liquor mafia as well as destroyed property worth 5 crores.

The police have arrested 34 named accused, 6 more accused. On the basis of the traces of the arrested accused, 7,476 liters of illicit liquor, 5,723 fake lids have been recovered, as well as more than 3200 bottles of rapier, 5410 QR codes, more than 1 thousand liters of spirit, more than 150 illicit liquors. The boxes have been recovered.
