Director Om Raut’s film ‘Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior’, released in January this year, continues to perform well at the box office. Ajay Devgn, Kajol and Saif Ali Khan’s film is moving towards 275 crores in the domestic circuit.
According to Box Office India report, the film has so far set several records and has become the second highest grossing film in Maharashtra after ‘Bahubali 2’. The period drama has so far done business of about 141 crores and continues to earn.
Ajay’s ‘Tanhaji’ overtook Aamir’s ‘Dangal’ by a margin of around 37 crores. Even though Prabhas’s ‘Bahubali 2’, which grossed 185.76 crores, was far ahead, ‘Tanhaji’ has surpassed the films of Salman Khan, Ranbir Kapoor and other big stars in Maharashtra.
