Tollywood superstar Prabhas has a pan-India appeal that no other actor from the South Indian film industry has been able to achieve. From acting only in Telugu movies, Prabhas worked really hard to give back-to-back blockbuster hits in the movies Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali: The Conclusion.
Prabhas will resume shooting for Salaar before Adipurush
No one thought or even imagined that Prabhas will become such a mega-star after both the movies created a huge roar in the box-office of not only Hyderabad but all over India with its Hindi and other language versions. The film was also dubbed in foreign languages and it was well-appreciated globally as well, which made Prabhas get a universal star status.
After Baahubali movies, the actor was next seen in Saaho, which also had Shraddha Kapoor in the lead. Although the film didn’t get as much appreciation as his Baahubali movies, Prabhas became the most-wanted actor for producers who have signed him for many of their projects.
Salaar is an Indian action thriller movie that will see Prabhas in the lead role sharing screen space with beautiful and gorgeous Shruti Haasan. The film has been written and directed by Prashanth Neel and produced by Hombale Films. It has been shot in Kannada and Telugu languages but will also be dubbed in Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam languages for diverse audiences.
Shruti joins Prabhas in ‘Salaar’
The film is slated to release on 14th April 2022 in theatres all over as the pandemic had halted its shooting for a period of time. Salaar’s principal shoot began in Telangana in January 2021 and it is expected to complete its shooting by this year to make it ready for release by next year.
