Following a raid at his Juhu house, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) hauled actor Armaan Kohli for questioning on Saturday evening as part of Operation Rolling Thunder. He was arrested today as a result of his actions. Drugs were allegedly discovered in his home. After numerous hours of questioning yesterday and earlier today, the actor in Bigg Boss and Salman Khan’s film Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo was detained. He will appear in court today at some point.
“I cannot provide a long input right now,” NCB Zonal Director (Mumbai), Sameer Wankhede, said, “but in the last three days, NCB has initiated an operation dubbed Operation Rolling Thunder, under which we have caught peddlers and suppliers of mephedrone narcotics and detained nine of them so far.” Following that, we searched several locations and confiscated commercial quantities of narcotics from various locations. Ajay Singh, also known as Ajay Mamu, was apprehended and detained.

He was carrying a moderate amount of MD (mephedrone). Mr. Kohli was discovered when we were researching him. Mr. Kohli’s residence was searched, and a tiny amount of cocaine was found. Based on that, we summoned him to the office, interrogated him, and placed him under arrest. We’re going to present him in court today.” Singh was previously apprehended at the Haji Ali dargah in south Mumbai when 25 grams of MD were discovered. “He is a history-sheeter who was previously engaged in an ANC Mumbai case in 2018 when a large amount of Ephedrine was recovered,” an NCB officer said.
The National Crime Bureau of Mumbai is looking into the route and connections utilized to deliver the confiscated cocaine to Mumbai and the participation of additional traffickers. More research is being carried out. According to reports, Armaan was arrested under the NDPS Act’s sections 21(a), 27(a), 28, 29, 30, and 35. Ajay was detained under sections 22b(a), 27A, 28, 29, 30, and 35 of the Criminal Code. On Sunday morning, Armaan was brought for a medical checkup. He’ll also be arraigned today in a special holiday court.
