Aryan Khan Appears Before NCB as Part of Bail Term

Aryan Khan appeared before the NCB as part of one of the conditions imposed by the Bombay High Court in giving bail to the 23-year-old, who was detained by the agency. After being put 26 days in custody, Aryan was freed from Mumbai’s Arthur Road prison on October 30. However, the Bombay High Court imposed 14 restrictions on his bail, one of which is that he must appear before the agency every Friday.

In its 5-page operative decision, the Bombay High Court imposed 14 restrictions on Aryan, Arbaaz Merchant, and Munmun Dhamecha in the cruise ship cocaine raid case. The three defendants were ordered to be freed on bail after posting a personal bond of Rs 1 lakh each and one or more sureties in the same amount. The judge further said that the petitioners must refrain from taking any action that may jeopardize the proceedings before the special NDPS Court.

Furthermore, applicants/accused must promptly submit their passports to the Special Court.” The court further stated that the accused should not make any statements in any media, including print, electronic media, and social media, on the procedures mentioned above pending before the special court.  The court ordered that the petitioners attend all court dates unless any justifiable cause hinders them and participate in the investigation as and when requested by NCB officials.
