Bollywood’s rising star Janhvi Kapoor will be seen soon in her upcoming film Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl.
The film is already complete and was supposed to hit the theatres. However, due to the coronavirus pandemic and the government norms to keep the theatres shut to curb the spread of the virus, the film is set to release on a OTT platform.
Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl movie will release on Netflix on August 12, 2020 just few days before India celebrates the Independence Day.
Zee Studios, the production house of the film made the announcement on Twitter. You can check the tweet below.
Janhvi’s new film is based on the true story of India’s first Air Force woman officer who went to war.
The film also stars Angad Bedi, Manav Vij, Pankaj Tripathi, Rajat Barmecha, Neena Gupta and Vijay Varma in important roles.
