Social media giant Twitter has announced that it has provided its employees an option to work from home forever even after the coronavirus pandemic gets over, says a report.
The move came after the company’s competitors Facebook, Google and others have granted permission to their employees to work from home till the end of the year 2020.
Certain maintenance staff and those whose work requires physical presence in the office do not come under this work from home option.
Twitter doesn’t plan to open its offices till September 2020. Facebook plans to resume opening offices from 6 July 2020. E-commerce giant Amazon India also has allowed employees to work from home till October 2020.
