Bangalore: Actress Sanjana Galrani was arrested on Tuesday by the Central Crime Branch investigating drug abuse in the Kannada film industry. Police sources gave information about this. The action comes after actress Ragini Dwivedi was arrested by the city police for providing narcotics to people at large parties in the city.
Sources said Galrani was arrested on Tuesday morning after a raid by the Central Crime Branch at his residence in Indira Nagar. He was taken to the Crime Branch office for questioning. “After getting a search warrant from the court, Sanjana’s house was raided,” said Bangalore Police Joint Commissioner Sandeep Patil.
According to the Central Crime Branch, Galrani had been under surveillance ever since his friend Rahul was booked in a drug-related case. Sanjana is born in Bengaluru. He made his debut in the cinema world through the Tamil film Oru Kadhal Sevir.
