Technology giant Google has announced a new feature in its Google Phone App called Verified Calls.
This interesting feature will help identify calls to know who is calling, caller’s logo, reason for calling etc.
The idea for the new feature is to avoid phone calls that are fake and fraud in nature.
So, now you can get to know who is calling and why and also the call will have a verified badge if the business or company has been verified by Google.
The feature will be rolled out in India, Spain, Brazil, Mexico and the US. It will be competing with Truecaller, which offers similar benefits for the phone users.
The Verified Calls feature is available with the Google Phone app for Android phones.
You can get it downloaded later this week in case your Android device is not showing up the new feature yet.
