Moto G Power 2021 and Moto G Play 2021 are speculated to arrive this year. The renders and specifications have now been leaked online. The specifications reveal that both smartphones will be launched in the budget category.
Motorola had launched two smartphones in India under the G series, including the Moto G 5G and Moto G9 Power. Motorola is now planning to launch a few more smartphones under the G series.
Moto G Power 2021 expected specifications
Tipster Nils Ahrensmeier has leaked the images of Moto G Power and Moto G Play 2021 on voice.com. In the pictures leaked by Nils, Moto G Power resembles the Moto G9 with a square-shaped camera island placed at the rear panel’s top center. On the front, there is a punch-hole cutout for a selfie camera. The Moto G Power could feature a textured finding on the rear like the Moto G9 Power.
As far as the specs are concerned, the Moto G Power is speculated to be more expensive than the Moto G Play. The G Power is expected to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 SoC coupled with up to 4GB of RAM. It could also come in a 3GB variant.
The G Power could feature a triple camera setup on the rear, including a 48-megapixel primary sensor, a 2-megapixel macro lens, and a 2-megapixel depth camera. On the front, there could be an 8-megapixel sensor for selfies.
Moto G Play 2021 expected specifications
The Moto G Play resembles the Moto E7 Plus in the leaked images. The smartphone features a square-shaped camera module placed at the top center of the rear panel. The camera island houses two camera sensors and an LED flashlight. On the front, there is a water drop notch. In the renders, the phone was seen in blue color.
Ahrensmeier has claimed in the report that Moto G Play could be powered by the Snapdragon 460 SoC coupled with 3GB RAM and 32GB of storage. For the camera, the G Play could feature a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. On the front, the Moto G Play could feature a 5-megapixel camera for selfies. It is also speculated to house a 5000 mAh battery.
