Vivo’s sub-brand, iQOO, has been launched with some decent under the hood specs and comes with 5G support, becoming a standard feature across smartphones in the mid-range category.
The company has packed a new cooling system on the iQOO Z3, which includes five layers of liquid-cooled heat dissipation system. iQOO says that the Z3 smartphone can reduce the temperature while gaming by up to 10 degrees. The smartphone also comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a new antenna setup that should boost the mobile networks. The company also touts the new 4D game vibration haptic motor on the iQOO Z3.
iQOO Z3 price and availability
The iQOO Z3 price starts at CNY 1699 or roughly Rs 19,000 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage model. It also comes in 8GB RAM and 128GB storage model at CNY 1799 or roughly Rs 20,000. The top-end model costs CNY 1999 or approximately Rs 22,000. It has been launched in China and will be going on sale from April 1.
iQOO Z3 specifications
The iQOO Z3 features a 6.58-inch LCD with a 90.61 percent screen-to-body ratio. It features an aspect ratio of 20:9 and comes with HDR10+. The display supports a 120Hz refresh rate. It will be available in Deep Black, Cloud Blue, and Nebula colours.
The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 768G processor coupled with Adreno 620GPU and comes in three SKUs – 6GB+128GB, 8GB+128GB, and 8GB+256GB.
It runs on iQOO UI 1.0 and supports dual-SIM. As mentioned earlier, the iQOO Z3 packs a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. It sports a 64-megapixel primary sensor along with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. At the front, there’s a 16-megapixel selfie camera.
