Motorola Defy rugged smartphone has been launched in Europe. This smartphone has got IP68 rating and military certification. The company says that this device comes with a dual-sealed housing and is sand, dust, water proof. At the same time, this smartphone can be washed with soap.
Specifications of Motorola Defy
Motorola Defy smartphone works on Android 10 operating system. The company has said that the update of Android 11 for this device will be released soon. This device has a dual-SIM slot and a 6.5-inch HD Plus display, for which Gorilla Glass Victus has been used for protection. Also, for better performance, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 662 processor, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage has been given. It can be expanded with the help of a micro SD card.
The company has given a triple rear camera setup in the Motorola Defy smartphone, in which the first is a 48MP main sensor, the second is a 2MP depth lens and the third is a 2MP macro sensor. Apart from this, an 8MP camera will be available in the front of the phone for selfie and video calling.
Motorola Defy smartphone has a 5,000mAh battery, which supports 20W TurboPower charge. The company claims that its battery gives a backup of two days in a single charge. Apart from this, Bluetooth 5.1, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, GPS, NFC, 3.5mm headphone jack and USB Type-C port will be available for connectivity in the phone.

The price of the Motorola Defy smartphone has been kept at 329 Euro (about Rs 29,000) / GBP 279 (about Rs 28,700). A 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant will be available at this price. This device is available in Black and Forged Green color options. The company says that this device will soon be made available in select European and LATAM markets. At the same time, the price of this device will be different in every country. At present, it is not known how long this smartphone will be introduced in other countries including India.
