Corona infected doctor dies in Indore

Indore: A 62-year-old doctor who died due to Corona virus infection in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, died on Thursday (April 9) morning. With this, the number of patients who succumbed to this infection in the city has increased to 22. Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr. Praveen Jadia said that 62-year-old General Physician breathed his last while undergoing treatment in a private hospital. He was found to be infected with the Corona virus during the investigation.

He said, “We suspect that the doctors who died after being infected with the corona virus may have come in contact with a patient of covid-19 during treatment. We are finding out how he got infected by this infection. . ” This is probably the first case of death of a doctor due to corona virus infection in the state.

In the bulletin issued on Wednesday evening of the Government Mahatma Gandhi Smriti Medical College, the information of 40 new covid-19 patients in the city, 62-year-old doctors were also included. According to the bulletin, the 62-year-old patient had symptoms of corona virus. However, it is not yet known which patient of covid-19 they came in contact with.

Meanwhile, a video has surfaced on social media which was made a few days ago. The 62-year-old doctor, who succumbed to the morning after a Corona virus infection, claimed in the video that he was well and sitting in his house with his family. So far, 213 cases of corona virus have been reported in Indore.
