New Delhi: There is a lockdown in the entire country since March 25, 2020 to prevent the infection of corona virus. Despite the lockdown, the number of covid-19 cases in India is increasing. According to the Union Health Ministry reached 5734 on Thursday (9 April), while the death toll rose to 166. 5095 patients of covid-19 are under treatment, while 472 people have been successfully treated. States are now taking drastic measures to completely prevent corona virus infection. Corona virus hotspots (highly affected areas) in Delhi and Uttar Pradesh have been completely sealed by 15 April.
20 areas in Delhi while 15 districts of Uttar Pradesh have completely sealed the susceptible areas. In addition to the capital Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh, some areas of Ghaziabad and Gautam Budhnagar districts have been completely closed. During the seal all the necessary items will be transported to the people by the administration and people cannot get out of the houses.
Apart from this, some states have requested Prime Minister Narendra Modi to increase the lockdown. The final decision on increasing the lockdown is yet to be made. Meanwhile, Odisha has extended the lockdown till 30 April. At the same time, Uttarakhand government is going to write a letter to the central government to increase the lockdown. It is a free service and will act as a central source of accurate, reliable and fresh information regarding the corona virus epidemic.
