New Delhi: In India, there have been 678 cases of corona in 24 hours, while 33 people have lost their lives. This information was given by the Ministry of Health during the press conference on Friday evening.
Joint Secretary in the ministry Luv Agarwal said – We did 16 thousand two tests yesterday, in which two percent of positive cases came out. The rate of infection is not high based on samples. Rapid diagnostic kits have also been tested.
It was told at the press conference that health workers are engaged in dealing with this epidemic. Any kind of mistreatment from them would be fatal for us. Currently, we need 10 million Hydroxychloroquine tablets domestically, while we have 3.28 crore tablets.
According to the ministry, a record 896 new cases have been reported in one day, while 37 people have died. 6761 cases of Corona have come to light in India now (till about 6 pm Friday). Of these, 6039 are active cases, 516 have been corrected / discharged / migrated. At the same time, 206 have lost their lives.
