Mumbai: The Maharashtra government has abolished the lockdown exemption after the ever increasing corona virus cases and people irresponsibility in Mumbai and Pune. According to information received from the Chief Minister’s Office, the partial exemption granted in lockdown in the rest of the state will continue.

The statement issued by Chief Minister House said that the order issued on April 17 to give relaxation in lockdown will not be applicable in Mumbai and Pune. Because a large number of people are moving out of homes due to the relaxation in lockdown and there is a danger of the epidemic increasing.

While giving information, Maharashtra Health Department said, “On Tuesday, 552 new cases of Covid-19 have been found in Maharashtra, apart from 19 deaths. After this the total number of cases has increased to 5218 and so far 251 deaths in the state. Today 150 patients have been discharged from hospitals, the number of patients being cured is 722. “
