Corona uncontrolable in Meerut, 26 new cases found

Meerut: 26 new patients of corona infection, including 6 members of the same family, have been found in Meerut on Friday. The number of patients has now reached 312 in the district. District Surveillance Officer Dr. Vishwas Chaudhary has confirmed this. Of these, 95 people have been cured, while 17 people have died. Earlier on Thursday, 10 new corona infected were found in the city.

Six members of the same family infected
It was told that six of the new patients received today belong to the same family. Apart from these, a pregnant woman hailing from Tarapuri also turned out to be corona positive. Preparations are being made to send all these to the Covid ward and the work of sanitization is going on. CMO Dr. Rajkumar told that it is a matter of concern to meet such a large number of corona patients today.

Two more people died
The infection was confirmed in Meerut on 12 new people including four Seventh Corps PAC personnel, Sadar tehsil registrar Kanungo and a one-year-old girl from Rohata on Wednesday. In the district, two more people died of corona infection on Thursday. Among those who died on Thursday were 65-year-old elderly residents of Ishwarpuri’s Phool Mandi, who were undergoing treatment at Lala Lajpat Rai Medical College since May 11.

Medical Principal transferred
On the other hand, there is a lot of pressure on the Meerut administration to control the corona cases on behalf of the government, so the medical principal has been transferred due to lack of increasing cases of corona.

There will be complete lockdown two days a week
Meerut administration has started a new experiment to break the corona chain. Under this new experiment, complete lockdown will be done in Meerut on Monday and Thursday every week. According to DM Anil Dhingra, it has been decided to get excited by the success of using the complete lockdown of one day so that the corona virus epidemic can be controlled as quickly as possible.
