40 deaths so far, three deaths today, five new cases found
Meerut: After several days, the number of corona infected patients in Meerut today seems to be decreasing but there is a situation of concern due to the frequent deaths. Today in Meerut, where three deaths occurred due to corona infection, five new corona positive cases have also been found.
According to the Bulletin of the Health Department, there were three deaths in Meerut today. A 56-year-old policeman died of corona infection, the deceased was also a diabetic patient. The second death is that of a 45-year-old woman living at Budhana Gate. The third death is of a 48-year-old man. In Meerut, the number of deaths due to corona virus has increased to 40. Meerut is second in Uttar Pradesh in terms of deaths from covid-19. Agra is running in the first place.
As far as the number of corona infects is concerned, the total number has been 536, including the five new cases of today, of which there are 104 active cases while 393 people have been treated and discharged. According to the bulletin, today 312 samples were sent for the test. So far 16132 sample tests have been done in Meerut.
