Meerut: There is no decrease in the number of corona infected patients in Meerut city. The health department and the administration are very worried due to the continuous number of Covid positive cases. Even today, with the arrival of 40 new patients in the city, the number of corona infected people in Meerut has reached close to 1300.
According to the report released by the Health Department, 2422 samples were tested today, in which 40 people reported positive. The total corona patients in Meerut have increased to 1294, in which 854 people have gone home healthy while 370 people are undergoing treatment. No corona victim was reported dead in the city even today.
Today, 3104 samples were sent for testing by the Health Department, which is the largest number till date. Till now, testing of 41816 samples has been done, out of which 34564 reports have come negative while the test report of 2958 samples is awaited.
