Meerut: Just as the corona in the country is becoming uncontrollable, similarly the spread of corona virus in Meerut is becoming unbridled. Since the speed of covid tests has increased in Meerut, the number of corona patients is also increasing continuously. Even today more than fifty covid positive people were confirmed in the city, while one patient suffering from corona also succumbed.
According to the Health Department report, 56 out of 3570 samples tested today came out positive. In Meerut, now the number of corona infected patients has increased to 1350, of which 400 are active cases while 879 people have gone home after receiving health benefits.
A fifty-year-old woman died of a corona infection in Meerut today, the woman was a resident of Jagriti Vihar. The number of people who died of corona in Meerut has now risen to 71.
Today the Health Department has sent 4340 samples for testing, while the test report of 3738 samples is yet to come. Till date, 46156 samples have been tested in Meerut.
