Meerut: The number of corona infected in Meerut has been 1838. One victim died of corona infection in the city today, while 28 new patients were confirmed.
According to the report of the Health Department, today 1741 samples were tested, out of which 28 reported positive, thus taking the total number of corona patients in the city to 1838. There are 349 active cases while 1403 people have been discharged after treatment.
After the death of one person infected with Corona in the city today, the death toll from this epidemic has increased to 86. The deceased was 75 years old and was a resident of Pinnai village in Mawana. He was undergoing treatment at LLRM Hospital
Today 1610 samples were sent for testing in Meerut, while the test report of 650 samples is awaited. According to the report, 75013 samples have been tested so far, out of which 72525 reports are negative.
