In Meerut, corona infection has caught pace once again. Yesterday, 52 cases were found and even today 46 new cases of corona infection have been obtain, besides one corona victim has also died.
According to the report received from the Health Department, today testing of 1960 samples took place in which 46 reports came out positive. With this, the total number of corona infected in Meerut has reached 2333 of which 312 are still being treated while 1927 patients have been discharged after treatment.
After the death of a 37-year-old corona victim of Abdullapur, the total death toll from the corona in Meerut has now risen to 94.
The Health Department today sent 2058 samples for testing, while reports of 457 test samples are still pending. According to the report, the corona test figures in Meerut have now crossed one lakh, so far 102980 samples have been tested, out of which 100129 samples have been reported negative.
