Lucknow: Corona case is not decreasing in Uttar Pradesh. UP Additional Chief Secretary Health Amit Mohan Prasad said that the total number of active cases in the state is 54,788, the fully recovered people are 1,72,140. Of the infected people, 3486 have died so far.
Amit Mohan Prasad said in a press conference in Lucknow that 1,36,585 samples have been examined in the state yesterday. A total of 56,26,897 samples have been tested in the state so far. The total number of active cases in the state is 54,788 out of which 27,263 people are in home isolation. So far more than 1 lakh people have gone into home isolation. So far 1,00,682 people have opted for home isolation.
UP Additional Chief Secretary Home Avnish Kumar Awasthi said that in the order of unlock guidelines of Government of India, state level unlock guidelines have also been issued. Out of the anticipated activities outside the Containment Zone, schools, colleges, educational institutions and coaching institutes will still remain closed till 30 September.
Avnish Kumar said that the cinema hall, swimming pool, amusement park, theaters and auditorium would still remain closed. Open air theater will be allowed to open from 21 September. Social / educational / sports / entertainment / cultural / religious / political programs with a maximum capacity of 100 persons will be allowed from 21 September. Masks, social distancing, hand washing and thermal scanning will be necessary.
