New Delhi: The number of people died by the global epidemic corona virus (Covid-19) has crossed 1.5 lakh and the number of infected reached 1,03,73,178 in India. But it is a matter of relief that the number of people recovering from this has reached close to one crore, while active cases have come down to two lakh 26 thousand 774.
According to reports received from various states till late Tuesday night, 15,609 new cases were reported during the last 24 hours, taking the total number of infected to more than one crore three lakh 73 thousand. During this period, 16,689 patients were healthy and the number of people who were coronated was 99,92,029 and the recovery rate increased to 96.32 percent. Active cases further reduced to 2,26,774 and the rate was 2.46 percent. With the death of 219 more patients in the same period, the death toll has risen to 1,50,105 and the death rate is still 1.45 percent.
