New Delhi: Due to the arrival of 13,993 new cases of corona in the country, the number of infected on Saturday increased to 1,09,77,387 while 1,06,78,048 people have become healthy. According to the updated data of the Union Health Ministry at 8 am, 13,993 new cases were reported in the last 24 hours and 101 more people died due to infection.
There are around 14,000 cases of infection after 22 days in the country. Earlier, on January 29, there were 18,855 cases. With the recovery of 1,06,78,048 people from the infection so far, the national rate of recovery has been 97.27 percent and the death rate is 1.42 percent. The number of under-treated patients is below 1.5 lakh. According to the ministry data, there are 1,43,127 under-treated patients in the country, which is 1.27 percent of the total cases.
It had crossed 10 million in December.
According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), 21,02,61,480 samples of Kovid-19 have been tested in the country till 19 February. Of these, 7,86,618 samples were tested on Friday.
