Corona India: Death toll began to rise

New Delhi: After the arrival of 17,921 new cases of corona in the last 24 hours in India, the number of infected in the country has increased to 1,12,62,707, while more than 1.09 crore people have become infection free.

According to the updated data released by the Union Health Ministry at eight o’clock on Wednesday morning, the death toll rose to 1,58,063 after the death of 133 more patients. The number of under-treated patients in the country has come down to 1,84,598, which is 1.64 percent of the total cases. According to the data, with a total of 1,09,20,046 people being infection free, the national rate of recovery of patients is 96.96 percent. The death rate from Kovid-19 is 1.40 percent.

According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), so far 22,34,79,877 samples in the country have been tested for covid-19. Of these, 7,63,081 samples were examined on Tuesday.
