Mumbai: The total number of infected people increased to 26,00,833 after the maximum 35,952 new cases of corona virus infection were reported in one day in Maharashtra on Thursday. Health officials gave this information. More than one lakh cases of infection have been reported in the state in the last four days. Apart from this, on Thursday, the death toll rose to 53,795 after 111 people died due to infection.
After recovering from the infection in the state, 20,444 people were discharged, after which the number of cured people has increased to 22,83,037. The number of patients undergoing treatment is 2,62,685. In the last 24 hours, 5,504 new cases of Corona have been registered in metropolitan Mumbai. This is the highest number of Corona cases in the city in a day. Due to Corona, 14 people have lost their lives in the city in the last 24 hours.
Mumbai had the highest number of 5,185 new Covid case reports on Wednesday. The police is also strongly against the non-masker in Mumbai. The Mumbai Police has given less than a month to about two lakh people in the city for not applying the mask. Four crore rupees have been recovered as fine in time. An official gave this information on Thursday.
