New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday urged people to strictly follow the Covid norms to fight the corona virus (Covid-19) epidemic.

Shri Modi said that all possible precautions including wearing masks, regular hand washing and other criteria should be followed.

On the occasion of World Health Day, Mr. Modi said on Twitter, “On World Health Day we should follow all possible precautions including wearing masks, regular hand washing and other criteria keeping in mind the Covid disease.” He said that take all possible steps to promote immunity and stay fit on time.

In another tweet, he said, “Government of India is taking various measures including Ayushman Bharat and Pradhan Mantri Janaushadhi Yojana to provide high quality and affordable health services to the people. India is also conducting the world’s largest vaccination campaign to strengthen the fight against Covid-19.

In another tweet, he said, “World Health Day is a day of gratitude and appreciation to all those who work day and night to keep the world healthy.” He said that this is also the day to reiterate our commitment to support research and innovation in healthcare. “
