Sinha passed away. It is believed that his death was due to Covid 19. He breathed his last in Delhi at around 4:30 in the wee hours of Friday. It is understood that he was confirmed positive for coronavirus on Thursday night. He was 68. Sinha, a 1974 batch Bihar cadre officer of the Indian Police Service (IPS), served as the director of the CBI from December 2012 to December 2014.
Let us know that in the last 24 hours, after the arrival of 2,17,353 new cases of corona virus, the total number of positive cases was 1,42,91,917. After 1,185 new deaths, the total number of deaths has increased to 1,74,308. The total number of active cases in the country is 15,69,743 and the total number of discharged cases is 1,25,47,866.

According to the Indian Council of Medical Research, a total of 26,34,76,625 sample tests have been done in India till date for corona virus, out of which 14,73,210 samples were tested yesterday.
