New Delhi: The outbreak of Covid-19 is getting gruesome day by day in India, and every day more new cases of infection are coming out than the previous day, more patients are dying every day than before.On Friday, more than three lakh cases of COVID-19 infection were registered for the second consecutive day in the country. By the way, this is the sixth consecutive day, when more than 2.5 lakh new cases of coronavirus infection have been registered across the country.

According to data released by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, 3,32,730 new COVID-19 cases have been registered in India during the last 24 hours, taking the total number of infected in the country to cross one crore 62 lakhs to 1,62,63,695. During the same period, 2,263 patients died across the country, and this is also the largest number of deaths from coronavirus in a single day. With this, the total number of people who lost their lives in the country has increased to 1,86,920.
