Azam Khan’s condition detiriorated, 72 hours critical

Lucknow: 72 hours will be a little critical for Samajwadi Party’s strongman leader and MP from Rampur Azam Khan. Dr. Rakesh Kapoor, Medical Director of Medanta Hospital, Lucknow, gave this information while releasing the video.

Dr. Rakesh Kapoor told that Azam Khan and his son were brought from Sitapur Jail to Medanta Hospital on 9 May. His son is healthy. Through the video, Dr. Kapoor told that when Azam Khan was admitted, he was in need of 4 to 5 liters of oxygen per hour. Covid pneumonia was found in his left lateral lung. In the last two days, when his condition became serious, his oxygen requirement had also increased, due to which he had to shift to ICU of Covid ward and kept under strict supervision of the doctor.

Dr. Kapoor told that in today’s situation his oxygen requirement has decreased slightly. They are taking food and are stable, but because of the disease’s severity, they are being treated accordingly keeping in mind the Covid protocol. Dr. Kapoor clearly said that the coming 72 hours will be a little critical for him and if it improves, then it will be very good for him. Medanta’s team is taking care of them.

Please tell that SP MP Azam Khan and his son Mohammad Abdullah were admitted from Sitapur Jail on May 9 to Medanta Hospital, Lucknow, due to corona infection.
