Lucknow: New cases of corona infection may be less visible due to less testing in UP, but there is no decrease in the number of people dying from infection. On Friday also 312 patients died while 15,747 new cases were reported. The number of deaths due to the epidemic in Uttar Pradesh has increased to 16,958 whereas a total of 15,96,628 cases of corona infection have been reported so far.
According to the information of the health department of the UP government, the number of active patients has decreased by more than 1.17 lakh in the last 13 days. This has reduced some pressure on hospitals and health workers. Corona now has a recovery rate of 86.8 percent in UP. There were about 3.10 lakh active patients in Uttar Pradesh on April 30 and in present the number has come down to 1,93,815.
So far, the total number of patients who have been free from infection has increased to 13,85,855 in UP. So far, over 1.44 crore doses have been given in UP. In this, more than 1.13 crore people have been given the first dose.
