Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath today reviewed the work being done in Saharanpur division for prevention and treatment of corona infection in Saharanpur district. He said that testing work should be increased by making contact tracing more effective. No patient should lack medicines, oxygen, bed and ambulance. All equipment must be in working condition in each hospital.
He said that 300 oxygen plants are proposed at the state level, out of which 11 oxygen plants will be set up in Saharanpur. Other officers of Saharanpur division’s districts participated in the review meeting through virtual medium.
The Chief Minister said that community kitchens should be run smoothly in the district so that food can be made available to every person. He said that people should be made aware of the corona and constantly be encouraged to apply masks. The chain of infection can be broken only if the person who is assigned the responsibility discharges it properly. Separate teams should be constituted at district level and the responsibility of the concerned should be fixed along with delegating the responsibility.
The Chief Minister said that 11 oxygen plants will be set up in Saharanpur. He said that no Covid patient should be deficient in oxygen and life-saving medicines. People should be made aware of the corona and keep a close watch on those who spread rumors and spoil the atmosphere. Such people should be identified and strict action should be taken against them.
