If we talk about this week’s average, 13.42 lakh people have got the vaccine on an average day, which is the lowest any week after March 14. From the middle of March, the second wave of corona in the country started picking up and the daily cases of Covid had crossed 4 lakhs.
India may be the largest hub of Corona vaccine production in the world, but so far it has only been able to fully immunize only 3 percent of the population. India is one of the few countries in the world where corona vaccination is not completely free for all. The Central Government has suddenly put the burden of vaccination of all the people below 45 years on the State Governments. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is constantly talking about intensifying vaccination.
