New Delhi: The first case of mucarmycosis in children (blag fungus) has been reported in Ahmedabad city of Gujarat. Here, 13-year-old child underwent surgery for mucarmycosis. The child has been operated to save his life. According to the information, the child’s mother has died from Corona. The child was previously infected with Corona. After that, it was negative. The child underwent surgery in a private hospital.
Black fungus in the country (Mucormycosis) due to which many patients have lost their lives. On Wednesday, 5,500 people were caught in the black fungus across the country. Of these 126 people died. Only in Maharashtra, 90 people have died due to black fungus. Even many states are facing a severe shortage of liposomal amphotericin B, an anti-fungal drug. These drugs are used in the treatment of black fungus.
In such a situation, AIIMS has now issued a new guideline regarding this disease and has told which patients are at high risk, what are the symptoms of this disease and how can it be dealt with.
