New Delhi: A record 80 lakh people have been given corona vaccine in a day in India on Monday. This record has been made on the very first day of giving free Corana vaccine to all people above 18 years of age in the country. The government had announced to speed up the vaccination drive from June 21.
In the information given by the Union Health Ministry on Monday, it has been said that this record has been made on the first day of the release of the new revised guidelines of Covid vaccination. The Union Health Ministry has said that till Monday evening, more than 80 lakh vaccine doses have been administered. This is the biggest record of Covid vaccination in a day. Earlier on April 2, more than 42 lakh 61 thousand vaccine doses were administered.
