New Delhi: According to government data, after 48,698 new cases of corona in the country in the last 24 hours, the total number of positive cases has increased to 3,01,83,143. At the same time, after 1,183 new deaths in the last 24 hours, the total death toll has increased to 3,94,493. Apart from this, after 64,818 new discharges in the last 24 hours, the total number of discharges has gone up to 2,91,93,085. At the same time, 61,19,169 vaccines of coronavirus were administered in the country in the last 24 hours, after which the total number of vaccinations has increased to 31,50,45,926.

At present, the total number of active cases in the country is 5,95,565. The Health Ministry said that apart from this, active cases of coronavirus are 1.97 percent of the total cases. The recovery rate has increased to 96.72 percent and the daily positivity rate is 2.79 percent. The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) said that 17,45,809 sample tests were done for coronavirus in the country on Friday. Also said that till Friday, a total of 40,18,11,892 sample tests have been done.
