Saina along with her sister Chandranshu joined BJP and were Inducted by the party’s National General Secretary Arun Singh.
Saina Nehwal, 29 year old , Haryana born has won more than 24 international titles, including 11 superseries. She won Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna and the Arjuna Award previously. India’s third highest civilian award in 2016.
In 2018 she married Parupalli Kashyap in Hyderabad.
In 2019 some of the sports persons joins BJP like Cricketer Gautam Ganbhir, Wrestler Yogeshwar Dutt and Wrestler Babita Phogat, and today one more name added to the list of joining BJP is Saina Nehwal.
