Delhi Elections 2020: Hats off to this Elderly woman who gets inked...

Date:

We had seen a movie 102 Not Out! and really wondered if there are real elderly people who are so active and happening as the movie had.

Today as Delhi Elections 2020 are going in Delhi, an 111-year-old woman named Kalitara Mandal casts her vote and encourages voters to take part in the democratic exercise.

She came to the polling station along with her family members. After voting, she showed her inked wrinkled finger to the photographers present there.

Her message is that everyone should come out of their homes and cast their votes as responsible citizens.

Over 1.5 crore eligible voters in Delhi will take part in the Delhi assembly elections to elect representatives for the 70-member Delhi assembly from 672 candidates on 8 February 2020 from 8 am to 6 pm. The election results will be declared on 11 February 2020 (Tuesday).
