Mumbai: Salman Khan’s ex-girlfriend Somi Ali has revealed that she was raped and molested when she was a minor. Actress Somi Ali, who starred in several Bollywood films in the 90s, is now working as a social worker. She is now working with an NGO ‘No More Tears’ where she rescues rape victims.
Recalling her bygone days, actress Somi Ali has given an interview and made a shocking revelation in it. The actress told that she was sexually abused at the age of 5, 9 and then 14 years. Not only this, the actress has said that it has taken her a long time to tell this truth.
Not only this, the actress also told in her interview that when I was 5 years old, I was exploited for the first time. I told my mom and dad, action was taken. But, my parents said at that time, do not tell this thing to anyone, I lived for years on this matter. Talking about this, she said that in such a case, society and culture also affect a lot at times. Also said that Pakistan and Indian cultures are very image-based.
