Scindia resigns from Congress after meeting PM Modi

New Delhi: The political crisis is constantly increasing for the Kamal Nath government in Madhya Pradesh. Now Jyotiraditya Scindia has resigned from the Congress. He has sent his resignation to Congress President Sonia Gandhi.

He made this decision after meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah in Delhi. After which it is believed that he can join the BJP. With this decision of Scindia, the Kamal Nath government also seems to be going away. Currently, CM Kamal Nath has called an emergency meeting with party leaders in Bhopal.

Earlier, around 20 ministers present in the state cabinet meeting called after the mobile phones of 27 of their supporters MLAs, including senior Congress leader Jyotiraditya Scindia, submitted their resignation on Monday late expressing their faith in Chief Minister Kamal Nath. There are a total of 28 ministers in the cabinet of Madhya Pradesh. It is being told that about eight ministers are supporters of Scindia who was not present in this meeting. His resignation is yet to come.
