New Delhi: New cases of Coronavirus are being reported from Maharashtra, Lucknow, Andhra Pradesh, West Bengal and Gujarat on Friday. As of today, there are as many as 203 cases reported in India

Four people tested positive for novel coronavirus in Lucknow, taking the total number of cases in Uttar Pradesh to 23, an official said on Friday. The four COVID-19 cases were confirmed in the King George’s Medical University, a health department official said. The total number of confirmed cases of the deadly infection in the state is 23 — eight each in Agra and Lucknow, four in Noida, two in Ghaziabad and another in Lakhimpur Kheri — so far, according to the official

Three more persons tested positive for coronavirus infection in Gujarat, taking the number of such cases in the state to five, officials said on Friday. While two of these new cases were detected in Ahmedabad, another one was found in Vadodara, they said. ‘Three new coronavirus positive cases have been found in the state,’ Principal Secretary (Health) Jayanti Ravi said. ‘Two of them are women from Ahmedabad, while the third patient is a male from Vadodara. All of them had recently visited foreign countries,’ she added. Two positive cases had been found in Gujarat on Thursday- one each in Rajkot and Surat.

A 22-year-old Kolkata resident who returned from London on March 13 has tested positive for Coronavirus. Since March 16, he was admitted to Beleghata ID&BG hospital. All his family members have been asked to remain in home quarantine. This is the 2nd positive case in the state.
