A new study on understanding the impact of emotional culture of a workplace says that employees working on multiple tasks i.e. multi-tasking employees are more prone to be sad and afraid. As per the researchers, multi-tasking is known to create stress and negative emotions among the employees, which can have a bad impact on the entire office culture. Due to distractions and interruptions throughout the work day can create pressure among the employees and make them feel negative.

Negative displayed emotions such as sadness, fear in open office settings have a bad influence on the company’s culture.

After offices resume working post coronavirus crisis, the study suggests organizations to have a controlled multi-tasking practices to ensure a smooth and happy workplace.
